COMPLETED: Ten Grannies

HELLO, I’VE REACHED MY GRANNY PANTY GOAL AND FINALLY ACHIEVED SOMETHING IN MY LIFE. I officially no longer have any full coverage underwear in my lingerie drawer that were not cut and sewn myself. MY FULL BOTTOM HAS BEEN WARDROBED.

Some pairs are fancier than others, and I honestly wouldn’t say the laces and frills are exactly perfectly my taste, but I also figure any underwear this gigantic should be treated as pure lunacy and decorated as such.

I don’t even really love all of the colors – I prefer neutrals for this kind of thing – but all of the fabrics FEEL really great, and that’s the most important thing about underwear anyway. I do kind of like the laces on the coral satins. And I REALLY love the elasticity of the lilac and blue undies – they are seriously supportive and slimming and make me feel like I have at least something in my life under control.

As a collection, they look exactly like someone’s suitcase exploded at camp in the original The Parent Trap movie.

The tuxedo pair IS RIDICULOUS.

They’re like the granny panty version of a French maid costume. Only with more coverage.

In younger news … I’ve already sewn five thongs, so I’m halfway to that goal as well. Can’t wait to model those! Just kidding. GOODBYE.

Pink Granny Test Panty

HELLO, THIS MORNING I WOKE UP, SEWED A PAIR OF UNDIES AND TOOK A FEW PHOTOS. This particular pair was just a test run, and I’m thrilled to report that the fit is perfect, the fabric is light and buttery, they are comfy AF, and despite the granny silhouette, there is zero VPL.

No makeup or contacts today, and I didn’t comb my hair or anything, because these are just some undies, get over it.

Now that I know the pattern is just right, I can focus on gathering up colors and trimmings that won’t make me feel like an actual gran.

Now I need to make a full collection to replace the mess I’m currently hating. I’m thinking 10 granny, 10 hipster, 10 thong and a few solid cotton for sad days, and since these stitch together in no time, I’m hoping it doesn’t take me forever to accomplish all of this, my life’s goals. GOODBYE.
