HELLO, I MADE A SWEATSHIRT OUT OF NON-STRETCH UPHOLSTERY FABRIC. This super soft, reversible, double-weight organic cotton was originally purchased to use in my dining room, but it’s been sitting around for ages, and so I decided to wear it instead.
I acknowledge that the trellis pattern is really obviously a home dec thing, but I honestly could not care less [p.s. guys, ‘I could NOT care less.’ Could NOT. I could NOT care less. If you leave out the “NOT” it means you care very much. Just. Okay.].
The visor was a gift from my best girl Molly. She has a matching one, and we were supposed to take pictures together by a pool, but we never did, and thus basically wasted the entire summer, and now I’m making sweatshirts for Fall.
Hey look, I used the reverse side on the sleeves.
I felt like the giant pattern needed a little breaking up, so I used this pretty light blue and gold metal zipper, and threw a tassel on there, because it’s also pretty. I KNOW. Tassels are over-used. We’re all still surviving them though.
The slightly cropped dolman sleeve and the boxy shape remind me of the kind of thing Barbie would wear to a ski party in the 1960’s.
I mean, I’m never going skiing, but I wouldn’t mind looking good at a ski party.
Could wear this visor …
So, like … don’t forget me when you plan your ski parties this winter. GOODBYE.
