Navy Scuba Knit Executive Top

HELLO, I MADE THIS TOP OVER A WEEK AGO, BUT HAVEN’T FELT LIKE TAKING PICTURES OF MYSELF. With clothes on, I mean. I originally purchased this heavy-weight, super structured but also stretchy, scuba fabric back in July, intending to make a bathing suit, but I ran out of time before my summer vacations, and so instead I made a top to wear to corporate meetings.

The exact opposite use.

I have no corporate meetings scheduled.

Still, I like wearing this. Those sleeves were added midway through this project, sewn right on top of a short, fitted cap sleeve, so they’re kind of like wings. Wings made of scuba knit, trimmed in royal blue bias.

I can pin bows and brooches and pink faux fur poms under the little … THING in front.

Is anyone else dying from allergies lately? MY BRAIN.

Eventually, I’d like to stitch up a pair of pink, high-waisted damask flares to wear with it. Wouldn’t that look so great in a conference room?
